One morning...

...Whilst idly looking around my college library from the table I was sitting at I was looking across at the other students studying, researching , working, doing the things that I should have really been doing then. I had been to the library many times and I've almost seen and visually memorized every section of the library. I thought at the time I've been through the whole library, there's nothing I haven't seen but I saw something in that moment of procrastinating from my work that I never noticed before. The ceiling above me was a huge window showing a bright blue sky and in one corner of the window, the top of a building that was opposite the college. It was like I was looking at a painting. A live painting with a couple of flying seagulls flying through from time to time. Amazing . I found myself staring at it for what seemed to be 20 minutes and stopped after I caught my eye on a couple of students that were giving me the "you're coo coo" sign. Later that afternoon, realizing how I had missed such an amazing sight in the library, I found I had missed so much other things in town when I looked up (making sure I didn't bump into anything or anyone of course). It's amazing what you can see when you change your point of view. You see a wonderful new world you never knew there existed. On the other hand, you may see something you never wished you did.

I'm not sure why I wrote that or why I thought it was write-worthy but I thought it was something to write about.
I've started to repeat words a lot in one sentence/ paragraph. Nasty habit. Should stop.

Insightful. :) Very true though. I recently noticed something I've never noticed before either, even though I've been there so many times. It's really weird when that happens, but it makes me feel like there's so much more to explore and I get excited. xD

The library sounds gorgeous. :P

Agreed, your library sounds beautiful =)

It would seem you've had one of those 'When did that happen?' moments ^_^
